Process of establishing a Vela Microboard:

• Contact the Project Worker, obtain further information and clarify any issues.
• Identify people who may be willing to sit on the Microboard the project worker will explain the concept of Vela Microboards to these people.
• Have a person centred plan carried out. This will identify the person's hopes and dreams for their future.
• Further information on person centred planning is available from the project worker or social services.
• Establish the Microboard, with the assistance of the project worker.
• Put in place the plan identified by the person centred planning process.
